About the App
What is Mindful Brian?
Mindful Brian is the app your practitioner uses to deliver their wellbeing programme to you. Rather than a meditation library you browse independently, it gives you access to the specific course your teacher has prepared, with guided practices, journaling, mood tracking, an AI chatbot for between-session support, and progress tracking all in one place.
Built on the BeWell Catalyst platform by BeWell IT, Mindful Brian supports a range of evidence-based modalities, from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and MBCT to yoga therapy and stress management. Your teacher has chosen what goes into your course; you are here to access it.

Who is Mindful Brian for?
Mindful Brian is for anyone seeking to build a consistent mindfulness practice. It supports both individuals practising independently and participants in structured courses led by their practitioner. Programmes cover a range of modalities including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), yoga therapy, and general wellbeing.
How is Mindful Brian different from other mindfulness apps?
Unlike meditation library apps such as Insight Timer or Calm, Mindful Brian delivers structured programmes built by practitioners who own their content and their relationship with participants. It combines guided practices with mood tracking, journaling, and AI-powered support, not just audio content. Practitioners create their own courses rather than contributing to a generic marketplace.
What types of programmes are available?
Mindful Brian supports a range of evidence-based wellbeing modalities including MBSR, MBCT, yoga therapy, Alexander Technique, and stress management programmes. Practitioners create and deliver their own customised courses through the platform, so the specific programmes available depend on which practitioner's course you join.
What features does Mindful Brian include?
Mindful Brian includes guided meditations, structured courses with modules and activities, a practice timer with interval bells, mood tracking, journaling, reminders, an AI chatbot for between-session guidance, and progress tracking. Which of these features you see depends on what your practitioner has chosen to include in your course. Anonymised app usage data is also collected to help practitioners understand how their programme is being received.
Are you a practitioner?
Mindful Brian is built for practitioners who want to deliver their own wellbeing programme through a dedicated app, without building one from scratch. Find out how the platform works and how to get started.
